Las Chicas del Cables follows the life of 4 telephone operators living in Madrid in the early 1900s. It shows how these women break the glass ceiling in a very gender normative society.

Overall, this show is not that bad and will keep you interested for the most part. It is interesting to see how women were treated in Spain back then and how they had to gain respect for themselves.

This is good for anyone looking for a good show with strong female leads, but overall the plot is not the greatest because it gets too much into romance.

But, if you want a good a historical drama, you should check it out!
